Do I have beef with paid coaches? Nope. There are lots of good ones. Here’s what I have a problem with. 1. High-pressuing agents to close them on coaching then training them to do the same thing to their real estate clients (which kills your short and long-term business). 2. Tons of these coaches and gurus were not successful theirself selling real estate (sold 19 houses in 2 years and now selling $500 courses) or never even had a RE license. 3. Knowing that 90% of agents fail, they talk new agents into playing for coaching on a credit card if they don’t have the money putting them into debt before they even get started then teach them the same old stuff they could have heard for free. If you hire a coach, look at two things…their sales history and how they are trying to close you on their program (that’s the same strategy they are going to teach you to close your clients and if you feeler pressured now, so will they). These are my thoughts, what are yours?
